More than 500 research groups develop their work at the University of Seville

The University of Seville hosts 560 research groups, whose work is related to all areas of knowledge. Last year, the University obtained national funds for 91 research projects, which makes it the second Spanish university in terms of funding. Furthermore, this fact shows the high level of competitiveness of our researchers in all areas.

Research and knowledge transfer are essential activities for the University of Seville, as shown by its VI Research and Transference Plan. SISIUS (System of information about the research in the University of Seville) is a tool that makes it possible to check these groups in different levels, showing their main results (publications, patents and on-going projects).
